It was great to have Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Councillor Pamela Rothfield come address the Rotary Club of Wonthaggi on the 16th of August. Councillor Rothfield is past president of the Philip Island/Bass Rotary Club so is no stranger to Rotary. She gave us a fascinating insight to her own life story taking us back through generations of her ancestors who had settled this area and some who had also served as shire councilors. Councillor Rothfield also updated us on the work of the shire council and of the challenges facing this shire.
