What a fabulous day to hold this years Australia Day celebrations. An event which was truly was embraced by our local community. As over a hundred people turned out to join in on our community breakfast they enjoyed the array of cereals, fruit and an amazing cooked breakfast.
A very big and special thank you to Elio for his tremendous effort in organising a seamless event. The feedback from the community has been so overwhelmingly positive. We also need to mention The Wonthaggi Club who generously provided the eggs and tomatoes for the breakfast.
The delicious breakfast was followed by the community awards, held at the Wonthaggi arts centre.
All Rotarians who contributed to the event should be very proud of the way the event was presented to the community. Accolades to John Duscher for all his hard work in organising this fabulous event.
