Ashley Lamers and Graeme Sprague represented our club at the District 9820 Membership Forum at Nossal High School Berwick on Saturday 13th October.  The Forum was undertaken to provide information and ideas on increasing membership across the many Rotary Clubs under District 9820.  The program included Workshops on change management, highlighting the benefits of Rotary membership and lifting the profile of Rotary Clubs.  Guest presenters included Ron Gauci, who sits on a number of Boards and has helped major business and sporting groups deal with change management within the various organisations including Melbourne Storm, Federation Square and Melbourne Polytechnic.  Ron provided a valuable insight into important aspects of Change Management and detailed how they relate to Rotary in ensuring our service group remains relevant in to the future.  Another inspirational presentation was delivered by Kerry Kornhauser OAM, who created a private health chain Australian Health Resources and established successful private corporate accommodation hotels.  Kerry has contributed to many volunteer organisations and Chaired the first Sudanese Women’s Conference in 2008, as well as being a founding Director for the first Rotary National Project “End Trachoma by 2020′.
